Funeral services for the late Haruo Higashi, 90 year old Long Beach born resident of Hawthorne, who passed away on May 3, 2010 will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010, 11:00AM at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd St., Los Angeles.

Haruo is survived by daughter, Harue Helen (Masaharu Henry) Iwaoka; grandchildren, JohnPaul Takaharu and Paula Ruth Haruko Iwaoka; brother, Tadato Tad (Teiko) Higashi; sister in law, Shizu Higashi and many other nephews and nieces.
