Harunori "Harry" Oda

August 31, 1925 - December 14, 2016........

He lived 91 wonderful years and says to his many friends  "Thank You for being part of my Life"

Harry Oda emigrated to California in 1954 when he married Mitsy Kitagawa who was a US citizen.  After working as many as 4 jobs at a time, they saved enough money to start Oda Nursery in Westminster and through hard work and resourcefulness built a thriving business which also included some commercial real estate holdings.

Harry was an avid golfer, played "Go" board game, love horseracing.   His kind, gentle, and most of all fun loving disposition made him many friends.   Survived by his son Ken (Judy) and daughter Amy Uyemura (Gary) and 3 grandchildren:  Taylor Oda, Kyle Oda and Sachi Uyemura....... plus plenty of friends all over SoCal.

Funeral Service:   Monday 12/19 @ 11:00 AM at the OC Buddhist Church 909 S. Dale St. Anaheim.
