Haruko Miyamoto, age 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on January 31, 2024. She was born in Utah but has been a long-time resident of Torrance. She was predeceased by her husband Hideaki and sister Utako Yamanaka. She is survived by her children Joseph (Yuriko), Craig (Stacey), Karen (Glenn) Mayeda; grandchildren Melissa, Eric (Simi), Mark (Amanda), Moof (Ali) Mayeda, and Dr.Nicole Mayeda (Joseph). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister Shigeko Fukuhara.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church and 11:45 burial at Green Hills Memorial Park.
