Obituary
Haruko Kobata, a 101-year-old Gardena California-born Nisei Resident of Tustin Ranch passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones.
She is survived by her son, Roger (Grace) Kobata; daughters, Sharon (Charles) Wakamoto and Linda (Gary) Yamauchi; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Aiko Wada; brother, Sumifusa (Kiyo Anne) Fujimoto. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 10:00 AM at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 3955 N. Studebaker Rd., Long Beach, CA. A public viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with a burial service to be held at 2:30 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA.
