HARUICHI "NARSEY" NARUSE, 88, died October 26, 2007. Born in San Pedro, California and raised in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. At age 17, he returned to California with only $23 and a name and address for a job. During War World II, he was forced to relocate to Utah, where he met wife, Betty "Tsuyako" Yumori. Together they raised a family and built a farm. He is greatly missed by his children, Donald (Linda) of Oahu, Dick (June) of Utah and Judy (Alan) Miyashiro of San Ramon; seven grandchildren, Derrick, Taya, Darren, Stephanie, Mathew, Jana and Melissa; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007.
