Memorial Service for the late Haru Arakawa, 81 year-old, Brawley CA born resident of Torrance, who passed away on July 26, 2008, will be held on Sunday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m., at Fukui Mortuary Chapel in the Garden with Rev. Dr. Richard Kuyama officiating.
She is survived by her son, Carl M. Arakawa; brothers: George (Yoshiko) Shimabukuro, Thomas (Yasuko) Shimabukuro, Takemasa (Fumie) Shimabukuro; sisters: Masako (Kiyoji) Takaesu, Chiyo Higa and Kyoko Shimabukuro; brother-in-law, Shigeo Bill Higa, also, by the many nieces, nephews and extended relatives living throughout the US, Okinawa, and Japan.
