Memorial services for the late Mr. Harry Hiroji Kitahata, an 89-year-old Brawley, California-born Nisei, former internee of Jerome Relocation Camp and longtime resident off Newport Beach who passed away on February 1, 2012 will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012, 10:00 AM at Anaheim Free Methodist Church, 1001 N. Mayflower St., Anaheim, CA 92801, officiated by Rev. Nancy Tereda Wong. In lieu of koden or flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Keiro Nursing Home (323) 276-5700.
He is survived by his wife, Reiko Kitahata; children, Dianne Kimiye (Les) Yamamoto, Noreen Noriko (Ernie) Ozawa, Eunice Yuki (Ben) Tanga and Janice Yuri (Wendell) Nagao; grandchildren, Thomas and Katie Yamamoto, Nick and Natalie Ozawa, Ciara, Blake and Cole Nagao, and Marisa and Akemi Tanga; siblings, Shuzo (Helen) Kitahata, and Hisako Suddie Okamoto; sister-in-law, Kay Kitahata. Also survived by many other relatives. Predeceased by brother Shigeru Kitahata, and brother-in-law Mas Okamoto
