Obituary

Harry was born in Garden Grove, CA. and passed away peacefully, at
home in Los Angeles, surrounded by loved ones.

As a youth he developed a fondness for many sports. He participated
in Judo and was a member of the team that introduced the sport in
the 1932 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles and was the shortstop
on a softball team that won a U.S. National A.A.U. Championship.
The sporting achievement that he was most proud of, however, was
once being a scratch golfer.

Prior to WWII, Harry along with his father and uncle, operated a
produce market which was known for its premium quality and was
frequented by many celebrities of that period.

After WWII, Harry and his family returned to the Southern California
area where he and his father ran a gardening business together. In
1950 Harry joined the American Fish & Seafood Co. as a managing
partner.

Harry was a well known figure in the seafood industry and was
a person with an unparalled work ethic whose loyalty and support
for friends and loved ones was without limits.

Harry was preceeded in death by his first wife Dorothy,( the mother
of his children), and his sisters Francis and Alice. He is survived by his
wife Tamiko Kudo Fujino; sons, Barry Stephen (Gail Spears) Fujino
and Ross Martin (Susan) Fujino; daughters, Stephanie Lynn (Dennis)
Nakata and Christina Gail Fujino; sister, Mary Hisako (Bob
Tronolone) Ikebasu; grandchildren, Tera and Linsay Nakata, Kati
Wilkowski, Holly, Demi and Sheri Fujino; sisters-in-law, Sarah Sawaii,
Minako and Tsunako Kudo; brother-in-law, Albert Nakazawa. Harry is
also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He will be
missed by all.

Private services were held on Saturday June 20, at Fukui Mortuary
"Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. Fumiaki Usuki of the
West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple.
