Family services for the late Hanako Kaneko, 83-year-old El Centro, Calif.-born Nisei and resident of Rosemead who passed away on May 23 at Keiro Nursing Home, were held on June 9 at Rose Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Nakagawa officiating and Fukui Mortuary directing.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Don) Tagawa; grandchildren, Kevin, Staci and Stephen; sisters, Kiyomi Kobayashi and Ayako Murosaki, the latter of Japan; brothers, Fujio Katayama and Hideo Katayama, both of Japan; and many nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
