Hajime Yoshida, 79, Gardena, California resident, born and raised in the Boyle Heights district of Los Angeles, passed away for rebirth peacefully surrounded by family on February 24, 2018. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Fukui Mortuary officiated by Rev. Kunishige Ito of the Tenrikyo Church.

He is survived by his siblings, Ikuko Yuge, Minori Oike, Tosh Yoshida, Nobu Yoshida, Kyoko Hashimoto, David Yoshida and numerous nieces and nephews.
