Grace Matsuno Taira, age 95, Paia-born resident of Torrance, passed away peacefully on March 16 in Gardena CA. She is survived by her beloved children, Walter (Judy) Taira of HI, Susan (Bob) Maruo, Mae (Pat) Tanaka of WA, and Jean Kobashigawa of HI; grandchildren, Walene (Austin) Oili of HI, Clyde (Emily) Noguchi, Sharon Noguchi, and Ian Tanaka of WA; sisters Hazel (Renny) Yasuda and Sandra Tengan both of HI; also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews here and in Hawaii.

Memorial services will held on Friday, March 26, 10:00AM at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 14517 Crenshaw Blvd, Gardena 90249. The family kindly requests casual attire for the service.
