Grace passed away unexpectedly at 84. She was a caring and distinguished teacher at Lane Elementary, original member and loving servant at Evergreen Baptist Church, rock of her family, and someone who created strong communities through her love and influence. Survived by her husband, Hank, two daughters, Carolyn and Kathleen, and five grandchildren.

Services will be held at Evergreen Baptist Church LA (1255 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead) on Friday, November 8 at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Grace Oga to the Japanese American National Museum.
