Gordon Woo passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 72. Gordon had been hospitalized for pneumonia and succumbed to cardiac arrest . He is predeceased by his father Kay So Woo and mother Soi Sum Woo, brothers Fred and Raymond . He is survived by his wife, Sharon Koshiyama, son Ryan, brother Gregory (Linda), sisters-in-law Jane Woo, Wendy (Bill Endo), many nieces and nephews and fur-babies Lani and Makana.

Born in Los Angeles on October 20,1949, Gordon lived his entire life in various parts of Los Angeles . The simplest pleasures brought Gordon joy. He looked forward to his weekly movie nights and attending UCLA football and basketball games.  He made sure to attend all of son Ryan's youth roller hockey, baseball and basketball games and continued the tradition by attending niece Paige and nephews Evan and Liam's basketball games.  Gordon will be remembered for his wry sense of humor, indelible one-liners, calm demeanor, and his penchant for always coming out ahead at the blackjack tables.

A memorial service to celebrate Gordon's life will be held on Saturday, October 29, at 11AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church.  Gordon will be interred at Nuuanu Memorial Park in Honolulu, Hawaii.
