Gerald Mitsuo Umeda, a 60-year-old, Calif.-born, resident of Los Angees, passed away on January 28, 2021.  A memorial service was held on Friday, February 26 at Fukui Mortuary in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by his parents, Tokuji and Shizuye Umeda; he is survived by his siblings, Shirley T. Petrill and Ronald T. Umeda; nieces and nephews, Angela and Blair Petrill, Brian and Lizabeth Umeda; he is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
