Private funeral services for the late George Yoshinaga, 90 year-old, Redwood City California born Nisei, US Army Veteran, resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on August 17, were held on August 27at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Rev. James Chang of Gardena Valley Baptist Church officiating.

He is predeceased by his son, Robin Yoshinaga.
He is survived by wife, Yoshiko Susie Yoshinaga; sons, Paul (Carey), Mark (Shuxia), and Tim (Mifumi) Yoshinaga; grand daughters, Juli and Erika Yoshinaga; grandson, Vincent Zhao; sister, Mary Mollie Hamasaki; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Hawaii and Japan.
