George Sei Uchida, (89) was the youngest of thirteen children, born in the farming community of Florin, CA. Following internment at Manzanar, his family relocated to Los Angeles where he married, raised his own large family and enjoyed his many grandchildren. He passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by wife, Frances Uchida; children and their spouses, Kimberly, Kevin and Liza, Kristin and Greg, Kelly and Brett, Kirk and Aiko; and  grandchildren, Nozomi, Jordan, Lindsey, Connor and Casey.

Public funeral services were held on August 11, 2018 at West Los Angeles United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Oba officiating.
