Funeral service for George J. Tenpo will be held on Sat. Feb. 7 at 3:00 PM
at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th Street, Gardena. George was born in Gardena and a long-time resident of Torrance. He passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015 at the age of 91.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Kimiko Tenpo; daughter, Susan Akemi
(Chris Kikuo) Suya; son, Alvin Shuji Tenpo; sisters, Marge Michiko Dohi and Jane Yueko Honda; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
