Funeral Services for the late George Hiroshi Shirai, 80 year old Kibei-Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away on January 24 at St. Johns Medical Center, were held on Friday, February 2 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".

He is survived by his wife, Yukiko Shirai; son, Dale Hajime Shirai; daughter, Carol Mayumi (Joe) Bertoni; grandchildren, Jason Hiroshi Bertoni, Matthew Akira Bertoni, Wesley Makoto Bertoni and Karianne Denise Shirai; brother, David Mitsugi (Dorothy) Shirai; nephews, Michael (Sue) Shirai and Marvin (Keiko) Shirai; also survived by many other relatives.
