Obituary
MR. GEORGE HIDEO SHIMADA, 93, Sacramento, CA born Nisei, passed away peacefully on May 16, at St. Vincent Medical Center.
He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Millie H. (Steven Y.) Tani and Angie H. (Carlos) Altamirano Jr., grand-daughters, Ann K. Tani, Valerie and Naomi Altamirano and brother Kenichi Kimura, also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Lily Kiyoko Shimada and brother Harvey Masao Shimada.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 10:00AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, with Rinban Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
