Obituary
(Jan. 19, 1922 - July 14, 2007).
A member of the highly decorated 442nd Regimental Combat Team, WW II Veteran, George Oura, has passed away at arge 85 at his home in Murrieta, California from natural causes.
He is survived by his son, Gary Chikara Oura; daughter, Janice Mieko Carr; son-in-law, Bradley D'Olive Carr; and sister, Sue Shizuyo Shimosaka. He was predeceased by his wife, Sachiko Oura "Madame Katsuei Matsumae".
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Fukui Mortuary, 707 E. Temple St. in Los Angeles.
Interment services will be held on a later date at the Colma Japanese Cemetery.
