George Daigaku Osumi Sr, 88, born December 1, 1920, in Los Angeles, CA, departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2009, in the presence of his wife and loving family.
He is survived by his wife, Shizue Osumi; brothers: Henry Osumi,
Ka Osumi; daughters: Shirley Eden, Georgia Oldenbrook, Sandra Osumi-Rainville, Lauren Xerxes; sons: Ron Osumi, George Osumi Jr, Michael Osumi; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial services will be held on Sunday, August 16, at 9:30 am, in the Main Chapel at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA. Reception to follow at Mile Square Golf Club, 10401 Warner, Fountain Valley, CA.
