Funeral service for the late George "Kow" Maruki, 83, Florin, CA born, Nisei resident of Las Vegas, Nevada who passed away at Odyssey Health Care, will be held on Thursday, January 4, 10:00 A.M. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, with Rimban Chuho Matsubayashi officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his sons, Danny Nobuo and Dale Makoto (Jane) Maruki; grandson, Gregory Maruki; sisters, Grace Maruki Wertz and Rosie Maruki (Jack) Kakuuchi; brothers-in-law, Takeshi Kitaoka, Nobuo (Grace) Kitaoka; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.

The family is requesting casual attire and that flowers please be omitted.
