Private services for the late George Kurisu, 88-year-old, CA born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on January 11, 2011, were held on Monday, January 19 at Rose Hills Memorial Park Graveside.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie K. Kurisu; daughters, Susie (Terry) Matsunaga, Phyllis Amy (Bruce) Kurisu-Saltz, and Kay Keiko (Gene) Mori; son, Alan (Glenna) Kurisu; grandchildren, Kevin and Kurt Matsunaga, and Leanne and Alex Kurisu; brother Sam Kurisu; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
