Funeral services for the 86-year old Salinas, CA born resident of Gardena, who passed away on December 18th, will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 4 P.M. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St. Gardena, CA 90247.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Emiko Kono; children, Brian Kono, and Cheryl (Scott Song) Kono; grandchildren, Brandon and Jasmine Kono-Song; siblings, Hitoshi Kono and Sumi (James) Yakura; also survived by many other relatives.
