Funeral service for GEORGE KODA, 88, Garden Grove born Nisei and resident of Torrance who passed away at Torrance Memorial Hospital on February 9, was held on Saturday, February 16 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple , 815 E. 1 ^st St. , L.A. , under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Hiroko; children, Jimmy, Susie (Glen) Nakao, David and Steve; grandchildren, Stacey, Ryan and Bradley; siblings, Mitsuye Imanishi, Noboru (Masako) Koda, Haruye Koda, Kenji (Shinobu) Koda, Fujiko (Jack) Oriba, Sumiye (Ted) Takeuchi and Kazuko (Bob) Yamamoto of San Mateo; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
