George Kawata, age 88 born in Los Angeles, resident of Garden Grove, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. He is survived by his beloved brother, Shig ( Dorothy ) Kawata; nieces, Valerie ( Bruce ) Wakai, Joanne ( Michael ) Niebla and Pamela ( Randall ) Amuro and survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial Services was held on Wed. Dec. 26 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Clifford Ishigaki officiating.
