Private funeral service for GEORGE TAKEO KASAMATSU, 96, a Watsonville born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park who passed away on April 27 at the Keiro Nursing Home, was held on Tuesday, May 12 at the Old North Church, Forest Lawn Hollywood.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Tamiye "Tami"; son, Ken (Bonnie); daughter, Jayne (Gideon) Young; grandchildren, Tami (fiancé Michael Bailey) and Tricia Kasamatsu and Corey (Dana), Brandi and Kevin Young; sister, Frances Ushiro of Maryland; sister-in-law, Noby Kasamatsu of Maryland; brother-in-law, George Oda and other relatives.
