Obituary
Family services for the late George J. Higashi, 85-year-old Santa Ana-born Nisei resident of Gardena who passed away on April 28 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Harbor City, were held on May 8 at Rolling Hills Covenant Church under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
He is survived by is wife, Rose M. Higashi; sons, Douglas C. (Tomoko) and Don B. Higashi; grandson, Darren Higashi; great granddaughter, Danika Higashi; sister, Kiyoe Hamaguchi of Japan; and brother, Paul (Gay) Higashi; and other relatives.
