George Joji Fujimoto, a 72-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born Sansei long-time resident of Redondo Beach and veteran who honorably served his country in the US Army passed away on September 15, 2017.

George is survived by his beloved wife Trisha M. Fujimoto; son, Kevin M. (Shizuka Erin) Fujimoto; grandson, Evan Joji Fujimoto; sister, Eleanor Kitagawa of Hawaii.  Also survived by many other relatives both in California and in Hawaii.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 10:00 AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, officiated by Rev. Clifford Ishigaki.
