Fusaye "Mary" Furumoto, a 97-year-old Selma, California-born Nisei resident of Rancho Santa Margarita and former internee of Rohwer Relocation Camp during WWII passed away on August 16, 2017.   Predeceased by her beloved husband, Masaru Furumoto and her children, Masako and Ikuo (Regina) Furumoto, she is survived by her daughter Ikuye (Akira) Tanimoto; granddaughters, Kristen Sakaye Kang, Lisa Masako and Dina Alyce Fusaye Furumoto; great-granddaughters Katherine Michiko and Madeline Kimiko Kang.  Also survived by many other family members.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 11:00 AM at Pasadena Buddhist Temple, 1993 Glen Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Pasadena Buddhist Temple www.pasadenabuddhisttemple.org (626)798-4781 in the name of Fusaye Furumoto.
