Funeral services for the late Mrs. Fumiye Uyeda, 88 year-old, Nisei and long time resident of Los Angeles who passed away on March 21 will be held on Friday, March 28 ^th , 10: 00 am at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles.

Fumiye was an office manager at Cedar Sinai Medical Center for many years and volunteered at the Japanese American National Museum after her retirement until recently.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Uyeda. She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Vickie and Valerie (Larry Silva) Uyeda; sister, Kayo Nagatani; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations can be made to either, Japanese American National Museum or Go For Broke Education Center.
