Funeral service for FUMIYE DOI, a Los Angeles born Nisei who passed away on March 4, 2013 in Los Angeles, will be held on Monday, March 18, 10:30AM at the Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 East 1st Street, Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. The family requests that in lieu of flowers or Koden, memorial donations may be made to the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 S. San Pedro St., L.A. 90012 Fumiye was predeceased by her husband Noburu and son Arthur Toshito.  Her survivors include her children, Kathryn Doi Todd, Melinda Doi Manchester (J. Thomas), David Doi (Sanaye) and Stanley Doi (Alice), her six grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Dana, Mia, Gena, Carolyn and Russell, and her eight great grandchildren, Nicolas, Jordan, Makenna, Bailey, Amelie, Ryan, Ynez and Vincent.
