Fumiye Baba (1919-2018) died peacefully in Pasadena, California. Mrs. Baba is survived by her son, Spencer Baba; her two daughters, Carolyn Sillman and Susan Yamamoto; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 13 at Mission Valley Free Methodist Church in San Gabriel, CA. and burial was at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Donations may be made in her memory to the Los Angeles Christian Health Centers (LACHC) Advancement Office, 202 W. 1 ^st Street, Suite 4-0435, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Her daughter Susan has served at the LACHC for many years.
