Private funeral services for the late Fumio Watanabe, 86 year-old, Niigata, Japan born resident of Alhambra who passed away peacefully on February 14, 2018 were held on March 24 ^th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.

He is survived by his sons, Ken (Juliette) and Jun Watanabe; brothers, Hirohei and Shiro (Chiiko) Watanabe and sister, Toshi Hasegawa all of Japan.
