A Celebration of Life gathering for the late Mrs. Fumiko Yuge was held privately. Mrs. Yuge was a Pasadena, California-born Nisei resident of Altadena and former internee of Gila River Relocation Camp during WWII who passed away on November 29, 2014 at the age of 100.

Predeceased by her husband Takeo Yuge, and her brother Hitoshi and Kenji Sameshima. Mrs. Yuge was the beloved mother of Misako Nadine Ishizu, Katsuko Carolyn Yuge, Akemi Joyce (Dennis Aoki) Yuge, and Miharu Cynthia (Chris Cabacungan) Yuge. Proud grandmother of Robert Keiichi Ishizu and Kimiko Kristin (Jack) Tsui; loving great grandmother of Asheley Emiko and Sophie Akiko Tsui; devoted sister of Fujiko Sameshima. Also survived by many other family members.
