Mrs. Fumiko Nishikawa decided it was time to move on from her long and wonderful life and passed away quietly of natural causes just over a month shy of her 101st birthday.  She was the oldest child of Miyoshi and Yachiyo Tashima and sister to Sachi and brother Harry.  She was the wife of Charles Nishikawa.

She will be fondly remembered by her sister Sachi Ochiai, Niece: Cindie (Don) Gillaspie, Nephews: Ernie Tashima, Gregory Tashima (Brenda Espe), Spencer (Michele) Tashima, Alan (Kathy) Ochiai, Grand nieces and nephews: Yoshi Gillaspie and Denali Gillaspie, Lauren (Jarod) Roland and Alexis (Shane) Rothermel, Tyler Tashima, Tyler Ochiai and Teddy Ochiai.  Our family deeply thanks everyone for their kind words and thoughts and her caregivers at Keiro and Kei-Ai.

Her service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Fukui Mortuary Chapel, 707 E. Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
