Private family funeral service for Fumiko Nakano, 86-year-old San Fernando born, resident of Torrance who passed away on July 29, 2015 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, was held on Friday, Aug. 7 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. John Iwohara from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

Predeceased by her husband, Shunso Herbert Nakano.
She is survived by daughter, Jane (David) Nakamoto; son, Gary Nakano;
Granddaughter, Christine Nakamoto; sisters-in-law, Yukiko Takahashi of WA and Takako Takahashi. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
