A funeral service for the late Fumiko Mickey Maruya, 94-year-old, California born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on January 27, 2026, will be held on Thursday, February 12, 10:30 a.m. at Union Church of Los Angeles 401 E. Third St., L.A., CA 90013.

She is survived by her husband, Al Soto Maruya; children, Gordon (Susan Liu) Maruya, Craig (Robin Kushi) Maruya, Cynthia Kiku (Frank) Adkins, Caroline (Christine Lee) Maruya, and Sharon (Philip Shin) Maruya Shin; grandchildren, Russell, Lauren and Kasey Maruya, Christopher (Shobana) Adkins, Timothy Adkins and Jillian (Robert Gilbert) Adkins, and William Shin; great-grandchildren, Henley Gilbert and Farrah Adkins; sister, Michiye Takahashi; dog, Bingo; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
