Fumiko Jinkawa (age 97)

Tokyo, Japan born, resident of Monterey Park passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 17, 2026. Predeceased by her husband, Ben Hisato; survived by son Jon Makoto Jinkawa and daughter Ann Hiroko (Ron Ken) Nakahira; grandchildren Skyler Satoshi Jinkawa, Sara Kiyomi (Kyle) Kotani, Kathryn Akemi Nakahira, and Travis Toshikazu Nakahira; sister of Takako Yokota of Chiba, Japan and Sachiko Tezuka of Yokohama, Japan. She is also survived by many other relatives here and in Japan. Funeral service will be held on Sat. March 28, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. 815 E.
