Obituary
Mrs. Fumie Ishimizu, a 103-year-old, Walnut Grove, California-born Kibei- Nisei resident of Garden Grove, and former internee of Tule Lake Relocation Camp during WWII passed away peacefully on February 10, 2016.
Mrs. Ishimizu was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Kiyoshi George Ishimizu. She is survived by her children, Iwao (Nancy) Ishimizu, Reiko (Mas) Hatanaka, Seiko (Don) and Miyuki (Paul) Fujimoto. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services were held privately at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cypress, officiated by Rev. Jon Turner of Orange County Buddhist Church.
