Funeral services for the late Mrs. Fumie Furushima, a 92-year-old, Japan-born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on March 23, 2014 were held privately, officiated by Bishop Join Inoue of Nichiren Buddhist Temple.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Roy Furushima. She is survived by her niece, Marilyne McCall; nephews, Dennis Furushima, Gary, Chuck and Harry Fujita. Also survived by many other relatives both here and in Japan.
