Funeral service for FUJITO SONNY SHOHARA, 90, a Clovis, CA born Nisei and veteran of WWII Military Intelligence Service, recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal, who passed away on December 9 at his residence, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles , under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Centenary United Methodist Church .

He is survived by his wife, Hisako; daughters, Jane (Terry) Matsumoto, Susan (Dr. Michael) Wall of Honolulu and Ellen (Ken) Minami; predeceased brother, James; grandchildren, Tracy and Steven Wall, Kate and Todd Matsumoto and Elise and Michele Minami; nephews, nieces and other relatives here and in Japan .
