Funeral service for the late Fujiko Yoshikawa, 91 years old, Hiroshima born resident of Los Angeles who passed away peacefully on February 24, was held on Sunday March 24 at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple with Rimban William Briones officiating.

She is predeceased by her husband Yoshiharu Yoshikawa and survived by children, Akio (Helen), Mike, Susan and Robert (Shannon) Yoshikawa, Etsuko (Tim) Hide, Kazuko (Scott) Kernin, Minnie (Bob) Yoshinaga; grandchildren, Andrew (Angelique), Sarah (Kevin), Julia and Anthony Yoshikawa, Edmond (Monica) Hewitt, Alan Kernin, Vittorio and Gianni Salazar; great grandchildren, Gianna, Natalia and Lance Yoshikawa; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher and writer, and will be missed greatly.
