Husband, father and grandfather, Franklin passed away peacefully on January 20, 2018 at the age of 83.

Born in Honolulu, Frank served as a Marine, worked as a technical writer for aerospace, and enjoyed fishing and baseball. He kept busy with family and friends, and finally found time to rest.

Frank is preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Mieko Hino. He is survived by his wife, Emi Shimoyama Hino; his three sons: Michael (Alejandra) Hino, Howard (Ursula) Hino, Rob (Nina) Hino; his stepson Todd Shimoyama and his stepdaughter Suzi (Tadashi Moody) Shimoyama; seven grandchildren: Alex Hino, Alberto Hino, Michelle Hino, Kayleen Hino, Derek Hino, Ryan Hino, Kiyomi Moody and many other ohana.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 16 at Gardena Valley Baptist Church at 10:30.
