FRANK ICHIRO TAKENAKA, Nisei born in Visalia, CA, resident of Monterey Park, CA, peacefully passed away on his 95th birthday.  Beloved and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.  He received a degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and will be remembered for his gregarious personality and deep love for his family.

He is survived by:  his wife of 71 years, Mable Takenaka; children, Candace Shigetomi and Craig (Debbie) Takenaka; granddaughters, Lindsay Shigetomi, Sera and Tara Takenaka; sister, Janet Shoji; close relatives, Marie Rollins, Ruben and Phyllis Kagawa, Bill and Dawn Rothe; and many other relatives and friends.

There will be no service.
