Private funeral services for the late Frank Jay Takashima, 70-year-old, Chicago Illinois born, resident of Gardena, who passed away on October 15, 2025, was held on Sunday, November 23, 2 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Torrance.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Takashima; children, Ryan Takashima and Kacey (Danny) Takashima-Ahn; grandchildren, Kelsey and Kaylee Ahn; siblings, Wes and Gary (Debbie) Takashima; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
