Memorial service for FRANK KAY OMATSU, 95, WWII veteran and a resident of Mission Viejo who passed away peacefully on December 9 at his residence, will be held on Saturday, January 4, 11:00AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave., L.A.
Frank, an original co-founder of Keiro, served as the Senior VP of Sumitomo Bank and in later years as a docent and supporter of JANM. He also played a role in bringing the Space Shuttle Challenger Monument to Little Tokyo. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Violet Omatsu and is survived by his sons, Brian T. and Dean T. Omatsu; daughter, Elizabeth O. (Bruce) Young; granddaughter, Emerson Emmy Omatsu and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
