Obituary
Frank Tetsuo Nunokawa, 97, of the community of Sawtelle in West Los Angeles, passed away quietly on August 17, 2013 from natural causes. He was born to Kichibe, and Hisao (Kadota) Nunokawa on April 19, 1916 in the Bostonia community in El Cajon, San Diego County, California. Frank and Yuriko (Masuda) Nunokawa were married for 66 years before she passed away in 2009. They made Sawtelle their home and he established his gardening and landscaping business.
Frank is survived by his sister Mary Haruko Ishihara, sister Yasuko Nunokawa, sister-in-law Ruth (Henry Hiroshi) Nunokawa, brother-in-law Akira (Haruye Masuda) Nakashima, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on September 28, 2013 at the West Los Angeles Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Reverend Fumiaki Usuki officiated.
