MRS. FLORENCE N. ARAKAWA, 89, Longtime resident of Alhambra, CA, passed away on August 1, 2008 in Santa Maria, CA .
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, at 10:00AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
Beloved mother of Geraldine Rodriguez, Floyd (Sharane) Arakawa, Baron (Ann) Arakawa and Pearl (Herbert) Aguirre; grandmother of Masao (Martha) Rodriguez, Brandi Rodriguez, Roman Rodriguez, Sachi Arakawa, Baron Arakawa Jr., Garrett (Martha) Arakawa, Alanna Arakawa, Aasia Aguirre; beloved sister of Sadako Akamine and Kiyoshi Kaneshiro of Hawaii; she is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
