A "Celebration of Life" memorial service for the late Etsuko Kato, 96-year-old Issei, Iwaki, Fukushima-born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away at home on July 27 ^th , surrounded by loved ones, will be held on Saturday, September 22 ^nd at 3:00 pm at Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3 ^rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Noboru; daughter, Amy E. Kato (John Esaki), sons, Gary and David (Mai) Kato; and, loving grandchildren:  Mia, Audrey and Cody.  Also survived by cousins:  Mariko Wada and Helen Shiozaki, their families and other relatives, nieces and nephews in Japan.
